I didn’t do much better in the Taco. Had to shift it into Low and basically torque it up the hill whilst sliding around.

We got a lot of it over the last few days. They had to hit the highway with heavy equipment in a few spots because the plows couldn’t push though. A friend on one of the safety crews on sleds making sure no one was stranded took a video of a moose swimming through shoulder-deep drifts. Like, moose-shoulder deep, not people-shoulder-deep. Single biggest dump I’ve seen out here, almost what we’d expect from half a season’s worth.

Ran down a side road to get snowy sunset pics and this was the only spot I felt safe stopping, because the wind over the lake had swept it clear.

I flew into work. I’m guessing most people just opted not to go in. I slipped a little in the slush but for most part it was just wet. The Mazda did well too.

I LandCruised to work, enjoying the very light traffic, while fondly recalling the day I started shopping for a LandCruiser: hanging on for dear life (to the steering wheel and my bowels) as I effectively sledded down a snowy hill in my M3.
